About Me!
Born and raised in the small town of Lillington, North Carolina, Audra’s love for performing began at a young age performing in children’s choirs and musicals. Audra went on to graduate with a BM in Vocal Performance and a minor in Musical Theatre (summa cum laude) from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2021. During her time at UNCG, she performed both locally and internationally in various musicals, operas, and vocal ensembles. Audra is now based in New York City and is pursuing an MM in Vocal Performance and an Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy at NYU Steinhardt.
Audra is a diverse and well-rounded performer who aims to live truthfully and bring honesty to each performance. Most recently, Audra was seen as Cinderella in Into the Woods with the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival. She also performs regularly at various cabaret venues in NYC including 54 Below, Green Room 42, Chelsea Table + Stage, and The Cutting Room. In addition to theatrical work, Audra has vast experience singing in professional vocal ensembles across the East Coast. Audra is currently a member of Village Voices, a premier jazz ensemble at NYU Steinhardt.

Audra also has a passion for teaching voice to singers of varying levels and ages. Her extensive knowledge of the voice paired with her gentle and empathetic approach to the art of teaching allow her to connect with singers and foster a safe and progress-centered environment. She currently serves as an adjunct professor of voice at NYU Steinhardt in addition to running her private voice studio.
